Jerry Simmons hails from New York City, but his lineage runs deep in the heritage and lineage of South Carolinian parents and grandparents from Beaufort and Charleston South Carolina.
He began his artistry and work in the early 2000's, crafting Smooth Stones Lapel pins and cufflinks after the biblical story of David and Goliath.
As a preacher with southern roots the story of a young shepherd always intrigued him. The scriptures reminded him that before he faced any giants, his gifts for battle and leadership were being shaped by the divine and like David, he would one day face the same 'Four Winds' faced: The Winds of a Giant, The Winds of an Influential King, The Winds of Brothers, The Winds of a Fearstruck Army.
